Drawing inspiration from our popular Ascot Manor Design, this home is grand & inviting. Using a careful mixture of stone and weatherboards, this home features a dramatic entry with an open stairwell, large living with cathedral ceiling, open kitchen / meals / living space, butlers pantry and together with a billiards / bar area for entertaining, all areas are accessible to the large alfresco & outdoor pool area. With a grand manor exterior, large master bedroom wing with parents retreat, well zoned kids bedrooms (3 of) all with walk in robes, a huge laundry / mudroom & a four car garage incorporated into the roof line all adds to the grandeur of the project. This home has been carefully designed to reflect the owners ideas and budget including the design of an outdoor pool building which sits alongside the pool for outdoor entertaining. Balancing exterior features and shapes means this home looks amazing from all angles. When we modify an existing design this is extremely important to us. We take the extra time to look at all the alternative ways we can meet the client’s brief while still maintaining a beautiful exterior. As a consequence, this grand manor design is bound to be enjoyed by the owners for years to come and become a beautiful addition to the rural landscape.

Next we have the Studio. This 2 storey barn styled cottage is a wonderful place to explore your creativity or (as was originally designed) can be easily converted into an additional Bed & Breakfast unit.
At the far end of the property we have the Duplex Bed & Breakfast Cottage. This building has been used for over a decade as an incredibly successful luxury accommodation, leased either as a twin stay to unrelated groups or opened up by way of the interconnected doorway as a full featured cottage suitable for a party of 6.
The flexibility of the Bed & Breakfast business model has suited the owners’ lifestyles, enabling the raising of 4 children, the undertaking of 2 Bachelor degrees, and running another business concurrently. The accommodation known as Dragonfly on the Hill was leased to varying degrees depending on the family commitments at the time. The owners say the most difficult thing about running this business has been saying no to guests when you decide to take time off, because guests are keen to stay all year round!
